Ionian Odyssey
Set sail for the crystal-clear water of the Ionian Sea, and experience the adventure of the seafaring life. The days are yours to do as you please: relax on deck, swim and snorkel in deserted bays and explore a different island every day, each with its own charm, legends and must-see places. At night you dine at one of Greece's traditional tavernas and then fall asleep under the moon and stars whilst listening to the babbling sound of the waves on your cabin walls.
Travelmaker, in cooperation with a Dutch RYA Yachtmaster, gives you the opportunity to discover the real Greece and enjoy life as it was meant. Starting from your holiday destination and taking your specific interests into account, we will work out a route that meets your requirements.
The boat and its skipper
We welcome you on board of the S/Y Amazon, a fast sailing yacht, type Atlantic Magic 44 (length 13,3m or 44 feet, width 3,95m). The boat was built by order of a private owner who chose a luxurious style with teak finishing for the decks, cabins and the salon, giving a warm, homely atmosphere. On board there is a fully equipped kitchen, one double cabin with private shower/toilet and one cabin for four persons with private shower/toilet. Furthermore, the yacht is equipped with the latest technology and safety devices according to international standard. All cruises are guided by the present owner of the boat, a very experienced skipper with excellent knowledge of the islands and their inhabitants. He will show you the wonderful small ‘off the beaten track' locations along the way, and if you wish will teach you to help sail the yacht. With him your holiday is in good hands.
Because of limited space on board we advise you to take your belongings in a kitbag (suitcases are not allowed). Don't forget to wear good sunglasses to protect your eyes and bring appropriate shoes.

Route A. Embarkation from Corfu (Gouvia)
Gaios (Paxos) - Stroll around the picturesque capital of the island.
Preveza - Have a look at the traditional fruit market.
Lakka (Paxos) - Enjoy the crystal clear waters for swimming and snorkeling.
Parga - Visit this lovely seashore village on the mainland.
Sivota - Swim in the Blue Lagoon Bay.
Gouvia - Along the coastline back to Corfu.
Route B. Embarkation from Corfu (Gouvia)
Agios Stefanos - A pretty harbour at Corfu's closest point to Albania.
Paleokastritsa - Visit the famous monastery of Theotokou and explore the beautiful sea caves.
Parga - Wander around this picturesque seashore village on the mainland.
Lakka (Paxos) - Enjoy the crystal clear waters for swimming and snorkeling.
Mourtos - Order some delicious Greek fish ‘mezes' and buy a souvenir in one of the local shops.
Gouvia - Along the coastline back to Corfu.
Prices start from € 395.00 per person per week (based upon 6 participants), including final clean-up and bed linen.
