Most people believe that a personal chef is a luxury to be enjoyed only by the rich and the famous. Not anymore. If you want to celebrate a special occasion during your holiday, or surprise someone with a romantic dinner for two, just make a dinner date at your holiday home.

You don't have to make any arrangements, as the restaurant experience is brought to you. Chef Costas will take care of everything. Before arriving at your holiday home, he purchases the freshest and finest ingredients. Then, while you're admiring the sunset on your terrace with a chilled glass of wine, he takes care of the necessary preparations for your very special evening. Costas has carefully composed two delicious three-course menus which feature dishes from the authentic local kitchen - not the kind of food you will be served in the tourist resorts, but real home-cooked meals in which you can taste the natural flavour of ecologically produced ingredients. Sit back while dinner is served, and enjoy.

 

For our dinner date you can choose from the following menus:

Menu Pyrros
First course: Traditional Greek salad  
Main course: Lamb stuffed with wild vegetables and herbs, served with a yogurt sauce
Side-dish: Risotto with pine nuts and raisins
Dessert: Ravaní (a light cake with a sweet orange sauce)

Price € 50.00 per person (not including the drinks)

Menu Pheakon 
First course: Salad with grilled vegetables and grilled feta cheese
Main course: Sofrito (a Corfiot speciality - thin sliced beef in a white sauce with garlic, parsley and white wine) or Stifado (stewed beef in a red sauce with onions)
Side-dish: Purée with vegetables
Dessert: Tiramisu or Fruit stewed in a sweet red wine with ice cream

Meet our chef
Costas has been working as a cook for more than 22 years and specializes in dishes from the Greek kitchen. He worked on Lesbos and subsequently was chef in Dilofo where he cooked for famous Greek politicians. After running his own restaurant for a while, he decided to come to Corfu. Since then he has worked for several well-known restaurants and is also involved with Corfu's ecological cooperative. 

Costas can prepare other dishes from the Greek culinary repertoire, or he can organize a BBQ with different kinds of meat, salads and cheese.
